Hatha Yoga is the practice of moving your body into physical poses and raising awareness of the breath.  The practice is designed to promote a healthy and strong body and mind.  The word yoga is derived from Sanskrit and means "union" or balance between mind and body.  The practice promotes greater range of motion, strength and flexibility.  This yoga class offers safe modifications with use of a chair; movements are modified in a positive way to achieve greater range of motion and strength in a safe manner.

General Information
  • Participants must bring water
  • Participant must bring yoga mat, blanket, blocks or yoga strap
  • Classes are appropriate for all ages, levels of ability, and belief systems.
  • Please wear loose clothing and bring a mat or towel for extra comfort.
  • This is an 4 week program.
